First Colorado Gathering

We are planning our First Colorado Moms Gathering. Chris Nielson as graciously invited us to meet at her home Bring your favorite snack to share!! The drinks and paper products will be taken care of. .

To get her address and directions if you are planning on attending please email her at the address listed. She ask that you put "Colorado Gathering" in the subject line. Also if you could send the email from your personal email not this sites's email she would appreciate it.

Even if you are unable to attend-if you could please let her know if your Sailor is deployed. We would like to be able to possibly have our crafty people bring things so we can make cards etc. for our Colorado Sailors.

Thanks Chris and Kathy, My sons are far away, (put not a far away as one was a few months ago.) I am feeling very isolated. Please keep me on your list of Colorado people for the future. I would have attended today, but I have to get ready for my new week of teaching second graders. We frequent Colorado a lot. Last Sunday we took the youngest to DIA at 10 a.m., then the oldest was dropped off, at DIA, at 7p.m. What a day: we didn't like it.

I am soooo excited.... I am giving myself til 2 pm eastern time to clean house lol I even bought mircrowave dinners for family tonight LOL Got to get my sewing stuff out and I went to the dollar store yesterday and you just can't believe some of the stuff I picked up for the sailors in the adopt a sailor group.... One would think dollar store? BUT if you look you can get alot of Name brand stuff for a dollar each! personal hygiene cute hair ties body butters.. yes body butters girls.... I looked for ones that were in a light weight thin container to take up little space and I found them. Can't wait to share my other "treasures" including my little surprise tht is going into each and every one of them!

Mary Beth--Please pleasr join our Colorao group. Then you will receive all the info and be able to come to the things that are closer to you!! We hope to have a Ft collins or Loveland meeting soon!

Okay Kathy and Joyce are you all joining Molly's "tease" club? Now I am really curious. Kathy make sure you bring Joyce's phone number and we'll call her on speaker phone during the get together and she can be a part of it too. Both Sponge Dawn and Carol's Kitchen are gonna join in during the afternoon.
Oh the wonders of technology....even our distant friends get to be here with us.

Okay off the computer and out the door to Costco....finish shopping for the Spaghetti Lunch at church tomorrow and also see what "falls" into my cart for our Sailors.

I'll try and call you later this afternoon Kathy and will finish everything up for tomorrow. WOW it really is coming TOMORROW, it feels like it has been forever since we started planning.

I just want to do my part with quality control and see if 10 seconds is really tha best time to zap it for--LOL

Really though Moms -- Joyce sent a great looking something made of chocolate--I don't want to share too much--come see for yourselves-- I think there is enough for myself and 2-3 others---FIRST COME FIRST SERVE!!!!
