All North Carolina moms are invited to a dinner in Mebane, NC on Sunday, January 18 at 5:00 pm. Votes so far are for having a catered Italian dinner at $5 a person.

Have fun! Have fun! Have fun! Wish I was there, my son is at Goose Creek, I have to say, he says people down south are the most inviting, caring, fun people he has ever met. He loves it down there.

Hi Karen, looking forward to the dinner tonight. Hope it is not too late, but I should have asked this before now. What can we bring to the dinner? I see someone else was bringing a dessert. I will check before we leave this afternoon. Just let us know.

Hi Karen, I am coming..I am supposed to pick up Sandy Barnham and her son. He is 14 she doesn't want to leave him behind. I asked to reply to the invite, but I see she did not. So, that would make 3 of us. If she calls and cancels, I will let you know ASAP...she does not have a phone or a computer, she uses the one at the library, so that is all I really know?? But me for sure, go ahead and order the food, if she doesn't come I will pay the difference anyway. :))

Is there anyone else leaving from the Raleigh/Wake Forest area that I can either follow or carpool? I am willing to drive and can fit 4 in my car.

Sounds like a lot of fun, but unfortunately I work every other Sunday and that is my every other one. Please keep me in mind for the next one.!
