Hope you all have a fabulous time tonight at Flannigan's. I'll be there with you in spirit! Enjoy the graduation tomorrow!
And congratulations to all our fine new sailors! Wishing all safe journeys and best of luck in your Navy careers! God bless all you young heroes and their loved ones!

Sorry to say I won't be meeting you all this Thursday.

We got a call today, Gilbert didn't pass the test for the second time. He'll get another chance of Thursday, but told us not to come this weekend as he probably won't graduate with the others in his group.

It's not a problem to reschedule the train tickets, hotel, and car reservations. We will go there when he tells us to come. We just might not see the graduation, but rather spend the weekend while he's on liberty. I'm a bit disappointed, but will do whatever is needed to take care of my favorite sailor. I guess this is what we face as Navy moms.

I'm still not sure what's happening. We never got a call about if Gilbert passed or failed his retest yesterday. If he didn't he doesn't graduate on friday. Still waiting to hear anything, and we plan to leave tomorrow morning.
His mom got a call from his recruiter last night saying that he hadn't heard anything either, but he would have been notified if Gilbert had failed the test again. He was going to call her back sometime today. I'm still putting everything into the suitcase until I know differently .
Patience isn't a strong point of mine either.

It's getting so close! I have a terrible cough today. Hoping to be better by the end of the week but ..... I can't wait to see my SAILOR! This has been the hardest ride for me. I didn't expect it to be so hard for me. I just keep thinking how much harder it is for him than for me and then I start to cry.

I would like a ribbon also if not too late, was looking at all the other places but missing this little event group!

I usualy do not like to meet people, sorta a fear of mine haha, but I can't wait to meet you all!

Would you like me to check with our recruiter? he gave us several and might be able to get more from him? I love the Navy pin!
