PIR 2/27 Meet and Greet

Please let me know in the comments below how many people will be in your group so that I can give Flanagans a somewhat accurate head count a couple of days before the 26th.

Ladies...I've change to WILL attend. I just realized that Flanagans is right next door to my hotel. I'll walk if it's too icy to drive! LOL

Ahoy Ladies! Well, its 9 minutes to midnight, we have to get up at 3:30 am CA time. Our flight is not until 8:15 am, but anyone from CA knows about the traffic. I don't think I can sleep. I'm going to attempt it, but I know I'll just toss and turn. All day I've been daydreaming about Friday. All these thoughts go through my head, I start crying and then I have to make myself stop so I don't look like a blubbering idiot while driving. It will still be 2 days until I get to see my son Ron. I know me and his girlfriend will be stalking the base to see if we can catch any glimpse of him. This has been the longest 8 weeks and the last 2 days will seem even longer. I know it will be well worth the wait. I am looking forward to meeting all of you Navy moms Thursday night. It has been so nice getting to know all of you and all the support and comfort in knowing I wasn't the only one with all these feelings of wonder.

Hello Sharon, I am sorry that i rsvp so late. I hope to see you all there. I will be attending with my son's girlfriend and his father and his girlfriend. It is only 3 more day... I am wondering what my son will look like in the navy uniform and how much he has changed. Does he feel like he made the right choice. I am just so happy.

Question: Should we all wear blue ribbons or some other way to identify ourselves to each other (or just look for the crying women? LOL). I was thinking of wearing a button or name tag with my son's name and division number...what do you think?
