We did have a great time - even tho it was short, cold and very windy!! We will do it again. Next meeting will have the 2nd part of the Twinkie Story!! lol It was very nice meeting all of you nice ladies (and men) Mia - dont forget to send me the link or website to the shirt / coin's! Thanks Barb

sry we missed it this morning but we just got over really bad colds and couch's we got from, va in Jan 10th. hopefully iy will be warmer next time.we plan a navy Event, we are just down home people, that enjoy getting with other people, and be themselves. we went to hubby's company picnic a few yrs back and the women acted like they were to good to sit with the group i sat with. , i told hubby never again would i go to a gettogether, but he said Navy is family lets try it. well hopefully we get to. oven just went off roast is done. nite all zzzzzzzz

So happy you guys made it and enjoys each other, Sorry we didn't make it but it was so cold out side and my husband said no one is going to be there....I hope we do try to do it again when it warms up :-/

It was such a pleasure to meet all the shivering, dedicated Navy Moms that showed up today! The conversations were awesome and you all are the easiest to talk to. My hubby even enjoyed the time(and he was hesitant about coming in fear of Navy Mom talk). I think he enjoyed Barb's "twinkie" story the best! He chuckled a few times on the way home, just repeating "twinkie".
Let's for sure try this again when it gets warmer! I know we can withstand some rain, but that cold...brrr!
I'm glad I went, I'm privileged to have met you ladies and I thank you for sharing your stories and the conversation.

Thanks! That's my Shaner! I miss him so much! He's my boy! I am so proud of him and all that he's accomplished. He never ceases to amaze me!
Well ladies...I'm saying my prayers that the rain moves quickly and we all don't freeze! I'll be there with my pasta salad and pride! See ya tomorrow. I'm going out to enjoy the last bit of sunshine for the weekend. Heading to Shapes Alyse, maybe I will see you there!

So sorry about the late notice, but it looks like I won't be able to make it on Sunday. Some family issues have come up that I need to tend to. Alyse thank you for the up date :-) we were wondering if it was going to rain. I am not sure what to bring but we will bring something :-) to share. MiaB I love your main picture with your son making a funny face......my Daniel is always making funny face when I take pictures with him I have to beg him to stop LOL, Oh I miss my Daniel......Looking forward to meeting all of you :-)
