Texas Mom's Shopping Day

We have so many new Texas Mom's that we thought we'd plan a kind of informal meet and greet for anyone who can make it. (Sorry for the short notice--like I said very informal.)

Old Town Spring Shopping Day (Spring, TX off I-45) followed by dinner in the Woodlands.

Old Town Spring is kind of quaint little shopping experience to get some specialty gift items. There are a few places for lunch--although not really large enough for a group, so we'd suggest eating lunch in smaller groups.

The Woodland's Mall is just North of Old Town Spring--if you decide you want a more traditional shopping experience for your afternoon. We can meet for dinner at a restaurant there--which before we can make arrangements we'd need a tennative count on who would be able to make it.

Hi All,
Those of you planning on attending we are trying to come up with a good meeting location. I've checked with some restaurants but can't find one open in the morning there. We usually park on the backside of town (if you look at the map posted on their website it's the one at the bottom.) We drive down Gentry, turn right on Preston and turn right at the end of the street to access that parking noted on the map. If you walk back up preston there are some covered walkways back to the left on Gentry.
I'm thinking around 'gentry square' #315 on the map. What do you say we meet there at 10:00 AM

It was wonderful seeing my friends, Brenda Sue, Carol & Lynn Dear, and meeting our new friend Cindy. I can echo Lynn's sentiments with that sweetie pie Austin. And Carol, your dad is absolutely charming! We will do this again real soon. It was a lovely day. Thank you LynnDear for making such a long drive to see all of us, and Thank you Brenda for going out of your way to pick me up. It was a lifesaver as Clarissa and I ended up in the woodlands for several hours after we left you--but got what we needed! Thanks all.

I would like to tell all the ladies that show up yesterday in Old Town Spring, thanks I really had a lot of fun hanging out with you. And getting to know the faces to the names on here, hope to become really good freinds and if you every area just me a call or email me. We will have to get together again. thanks!! agains!!!

Mary, I am so sorry that I didn't get to meet you today. Cindy, loved meeting you and that handsome young man you were with. What a flirt. I know that he is only 12 months, but he was wonderful. CCR, Coyote, and Brenda Sue, I loved seeing you again. Molly, Joyce, Diane,Sue S, Melissa, and Kimberly, You were actually there in our hearts.

Rick will not be coming. He knows he's a navy mom though! Hee-hee! He gets to do all the stuff here so I can go. He gets to put up lights, fix a santa, mail out gifts to the sailor and fix my tree lights that aren't all lighting up...his day is full....I've already done the rest of the house, so he is on honey-do duty!

The only thing I don't like about the Event page, is that it disappears the day of the event so we need to start a blog soon so we can send pictures.

Sounds like a pretty easy going comfortable plan to me. Can't wait until morning. So does this mean Rick isn't coming? Just tell him that the NFM's consider him one of us. THAT IS SUPPOSE TO BE A COMPLIMENT. Don't let him convince you any differently

Lynn Dear,
Just sent you a pm with my address and phone number. You and Brenda are picking me up around 9:30 and we are driving to Old Town Spring to meet up with the rest of the ladies at 10:00.

We will have lunch at sometime during the day and will shop whenever we aren't eating. How's that for a plan. We will figure it out as we go. We may spend a couple of hours in Old Town and then move the group to the Woodlands (a short drive up 45) to have lunch and then those that want to can shop there at the mall or surrounding area for the day, or go home if they want. Seems everyone wants to go before dark--don't blame you, we won't meet for dinner. My daughter gets off around noon and will come to where ever we are at that time and join us for the remainder of the day and she will take me home.
