I'd love to keep in touch. I've been reading about CT's and there are so many different types of CT's. CTI,(interpereter),CTA(administrator)CTM(mechanic)and a bunch of others. Which one is your son? I don't know which one mine is....all I know is CT. I found a nice website and you can order CT T-shirts. You can order any T-shirt according to the field they're in. Its Navychief.com. Well, I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time with your 'baby' when he gets home.
By the way, do you know where he'll be stationed, now that he is finished with A school? I understand they're not on ships anymore.

you guys are lucky . my son is CTI and he is on hold in great lakes still. I think until they finish his security clearance. ( administration Hold) No one has been contacted as far as I know yet . Makes me anxious . I would like to see him move on to A school.

My son isn't graduating until 6/13, but I guessthey are really on his background check. They've have interviewed my friend and someone is coming today to interview me. I don't know who else they've been in contact with.

I don't think anybodys been interview for us yet . they have had info for quite awhile . Oh well . We will just be patient.

hi amber, my daughter is still in bc and pir is 7/3. she doesnt know if she has the clearence or not. i havent been set up for any interviews and honestly i really dont know the whole process do you?

No not really . I have heard that some moms have been contacted for interviews. Just wondering If the delay was a cti thing . Or they just havn't gotten to him yet.

Hi Ryann...my son Anthony PIR on June 13th too. He went to Pensacola on Tuesday the 17th. With what you said...I'm guessing he wont start classes until July 23rd as well. He did say they are able to leave base and return by 10p (I think) but he said after 3weeks, they can have weekend leaves. I hope there are some nice Hotels around there. I plan to visit. The Hotels around Great Lakes were not nice so I stayed in Gurnee. Have you checked into any Hotels in their area?

I think Anthony started class today (tuesday 8th) he said last week he had a 4 day wkend and would get his badge and start class Tuesday. Unless something came up...I guess he's in class. I textd him earlier and he hasn't resonded. Hopefully because he's in class.

My son is CTN. He's been at his first duty station since mid-May, but has still not started his "official" job yet. He does 'watches' right now. He should start after his clearnace goes through. It seems like there is one more step that will happen sometime after July 17 for him. He's still busy and excited to begin.
