My son isn't on a sub yet, (he starts A-school next week) but it may come to pass our kids will end of working together. So from one sub mom to the other (((((Hugs)))))))

Hugs to you too and welcome aboard. Sub life is hard for a mom. Ive only talked to mine once in 6 weeks. He deployed. I just recieved a newsletter from the sub to land contact and they will be out to sea for 6 weeks no emails no phone calls. A school was nice he was in Charleston,SC. only 3 and a half hours from us. Then he went to norfolk, Maine and now stationed in San Diego.

Hi Sarah,
Is your brother Alex?
I spoke with my son Erik this a.m. and was told that they hang together sometimes!
Have you talked to him since they've been in port?
Hugs,
Jackie

Yep thats him. My mom is Suzy-Q who has also been leaving comments on this post. We also got to talk to him the other morning. It was so nice to talk to him and find out how he is doing (even though it was 2:30 in the morning here, lol). He just told us that he is Submarine Qualified and received his Submarine Dolphins. I am so proud of him. I hope that your son is doing good as well.

Hi Everyone,
I just found this group!
My son Erik is stationed on the USS Asheville.
His best buddy is "Jaden", anyone's son here? Not sure if it's 1st or last name!
I'm really missing him since they've been deployed :(
Almost over though so I can't wait to talk to him on the phone.
Hugs,
Jackie
