Any AM moms out there?

My son is going into AM and will be in Pensacola. He is grad and go on the 12th. He said he is the only one in his entire ship that is going into this rate and I have not seen too many on this site. I was just wondering if there was anyone out there?

My son will be going into the AMS/Hydrolics. It is nice to know there are others out there :)

I think my sons (yes 2 sons) are both going to Pensacola, is AM for Aircraft Maintenance? They graduate on Sept. 26th.

My son Eric is PIR on the 12th as well. He is going to Groton, CT to sub school. He says only he and one other are going. I am sure you will get the info you are looking for on navy4moms. I love this site and have gotten a lot of useful information from the people who have "been there". Good luck.....

Thanks for all of the replies. I have been on this site since my son was in DEP last Dec(2007) and am now packing for his graduation on the 12th. He's really looking forward to Pensacola and we are pretty excited for him.

HI, my son's PIR is scheduled for 10/31 and he was supposed to go to Pensacola at the AM rate....now he says he is staying at GL?? Not sure why, but, If anyone else out there has any ideas or comments, I'm all ears. Thanks
