Hello all. Life has been real busy sorry for not getting back to you all. My son Jon is on his 1st deployment. He is reenlisting in the gulf so happy to say its tax free. Well good news my son got an award for sailor of the quarter . He has earned this twwice and were real proud. He has worked so hard and thought no one noticed. I told him they watch all but they trust him enough they dont have to stand over him. He was shocked but sooooo happy. He is reenlisting Navy Day the same day his Grandfather enlisted in 1942. Its just ben a busy month and now he's a 2nd Class Petty Officer. I feel free telling you all . You all understand none of us can say where are children are or what there jobs are. At least till they are out of the military anyways. I did find at Radio Shack a small pack of 4 lights they twist on and off. They are coming real useful at sea. I glued magnets to them so my son can read and see in his bunk. When he pulls a night watch it helps going back to the bunk in the dark and lets the others sleep. So I know ar night when he sees his way he's thinking of me. They were only like 10 to 12 dollers. But I am so glad things are going good for your loved ones. They are in my prayers each night. Right now my son is in troubled waters but God is watching over him. God Bless and Stay Safe and Strong Like A Postage Stamp . Till we are all joined again in each others arms. Tina Pratt
