Hi Dawn, Kim is a CTR. I didn't know what an OS did and had to look it up. Wow, sounds very interesting. Does she like it so far? Sorry that I am a little late responding. I missed your post.

Hi Dawn. My son Brandon is there in DIV 11. He is in Special Ops. His PIR is 11/21. I haven't received a phone call yet but he did send three letters so far.

My son just received his orders for the Kearsarge. He will be finishing up SK Storekeeper "A" school in a couple of weeks...come home for a bit and then report to Norfold to join the ship. I could use any advice from someone who has a sailor on the ship.

Hello, i son Chris had came aboard the ship while they were already out to sea back in September. I had sent in the application for the Tiger Cruise and then got an email from my son that it was too late to get on the cruise. Financially it is hard. Lots of obstacles to deal with. I am now living in Bend, Oregon. If you read in my profile that we came from Alaska. My new husband and I stayed in Waukegan, Il while he was in Great Lakes for 5 months. Then I had to leave to take care of my mom while my dad attending my nephew for high school graduation in Alaska. He has told me not to send him anything because it takes too long to get mail. He is planning his leave to visit his grandparents in South Dakota for the 2 weeks. They hadn't see him about one year and that would be the 5th of December when he flew to Great Lakes. Hope to hear from other mothers on how their yound adults are doing. Thank you and have a great day. Anna
