boot camp graduation

my daughter went to great lakes 10/1 she says grad. is day after thanks giving trying to make flight plans cant find out for sure if thats the date flight are booking fast . i looked for grad dates cant find them can someone help please

Gladys, what is your daughter's division? There is a site that shows the graduation date...but just remember that it can change. The grad. the week of Thanksgiving is taking place on Wed instead of Friday. Here is the link for the grad dates.

Graduate Wednesday, 26 Nov 08. so your Daughters div. is in there with the (013-020) congrats :)))) take a lotttttt of tissues, lol. you will need it.

hey, MY son, MItch Young is in 018. ship 12 uss triton. We can't go to his graduation, would anyone be willing to take some pictures of his group? I will send a camera and money for developing! I will have a house full, and the flights at the holiday are to much for us, plus he is coming home for 3 days right after he graduates! YAHOO! but we are very disspointed. Nothing will keep us from his A-school graduation! or maybe a digital camera that can be downloaded? or a cell phone, ? I have no idea how any of that works, LOL, but my husband said to ask. Sunny, my mom and I will be there for sure, and we will both have our digital cameras with us. I think I may even be able to upload the pics at the hotel, they have a computer room there, but I'll ask her about that when I call her tomorrow. If Chris knows your son, maybe we can track him down and get a graduation pic for you :) It will be pretty crowded, but I'll do my best!

Our group of four from NC will be there the day before Thanksgiving, planning on taking our sailor out for lunch is he doesn't hop on a plane, happy to take some extra sailors from Division 019 USS John Kennedy with us if family can't be there.....

Gladys just got my invite for Division 019, WEDNESDAY before Thanksgiving NO grads on that Friday. My son is grad and go, which means fairly soon, ie minutes or hours, after graduation he will head to the airport for his next posting. good luck and congrats on your daughter!

thanks penny congrats to you as well. i cant wait to see jessica again . this is the first time she has ever been away from me for more than a night,its been really hard on both of us. she has stress fractures in her knees right now. this may set her back. for her sake i hope not .
