Top Ten Lines Home From Boot Camp...

I just got a letter from my son today and there is this one line that makes me chuckle over and over again...I thought it might be fun to share these if anyone else has any. I considered putting it in context for ya'll but thought it wouldn't be as funny. So, in David Letterman style, I will start with my so far funniest line home from my son was:

"I guess not everybody appreciates ninjas."

My daughter wrote about being on "snow watch". I chuckle as I watch the weather reports for GL that show the first winter storm rolling through. My daughter is a Florida baby and has never experienced this kind of weather! She said she has a whole new perspective on cold and windy.

I got my first letter from my Nephew, and in it he wrote... They let us sleep in today, until 6am! He then said, I can't believe I said 6 am, and sleep in, in the same sentence!! I about rolled out of my chair laughing.

That IS funny. My own daughter was used to sleeping until 1 pm because she was staying up all night on the phone...guess THAT ain't happening ANYMORE! LOL

Ok so I got the form letter yesterday! I was soooo excited. It had DEAR______: Filled in with his handwriting: Dad. lol

Then it gave all info about stuff. Then at the bottom was a two line area where he could write a note. The part that cracked me up was "....and surprisingly I'm not homesick." It main me laugh, but at the same time made me miss him more!
