Top Ten Lines Home From Boot Camp...

I just got a letter from my son today and there is this one line that makes me chuckle over and over again...I thought it might be fun to share these if anyone else has any. I considered putting it in context for ya'll but thought it wouldn't be as funny. So, in David Letterman style, I will start with my so far funniest line home from my son was:

"I guess not everybody appreciates ninjas."

Same here...lucky you my son's clothes were just all over! Took me days of washing and folding after he left..haha.

These are sooo funny. Here goes a few from my son's letters.

"There are some CRAZY people here, I hate bathing near other guys and if I did not tell you before, there are some Crazy people here, I can't understand half of what they are saying".

"The food here is good but the lunch ladies are as scary as the RDC's".

"They say Navy BC is the easiest but I know the other branches do not study as hard as we do"

"My rack mate is a little craze, he is just like Monk (tv show).

"They have me folding so much clothes, I feel like a house wife"

He told this one to his brother when he wrote him "So, you taking care of mom and dad? I know they can be a hand full sometimes" lol

#1. Today we got to have a pizza party! - The RDC ate pizza and we did pushups until he was done eating.....

#2. Mom, you wouldn't believe this but I volunteer to take out the trash just so I can go outside!!


There are soooo many quotes, but most are not able to be published! There is truth about cussing like a sailor!

Amen to that one.....when my son called to tell me he passed Battle Stations his language was pretty bad. He said Mom I am oficially a sailor! I said yes son you are and you have the mouth to prove it!

Wow! You are not kidding about the "Sailor's Mouth"! My son does not refrain from dropping the F-Bomb during our conversations. It drives me crazy, but he just says, "Sorry Mom, I can't help it." and then continues to bomb away!

I was just going thru my son's letters again. He went to boot camp in Jan '08 and being from Texas and all...LOL! He said "woke up this morning and it is -25, boy that is fun!" poor kid bout froze his butt off.....LOL.
