Top Ten Lines Home From Boot Camp...

I just got a letter from my son today and there is this one line that makes me chuckle over and over again...I thought it might be fun to share these if anyone else has any. I considered putting it in context for ya'll but thought it wouldn't be as funny. So, in David Letterman style, I will start with my so far funniest line home from my son was:

"I guess not everybody appreciates ninjas."

I think it is worse. Prisoners have more rights and more phone call privileges. :)

OMG, I just got the same letter yesterday.....'like prison and i can't get out." And o this list is making me laugh so hard. The topics of my letter were HOME, PIR date, cold, and bland food.

i love our recruits. as i sit here on my comfy lazeeboy watching our nice flat screen tv thinking how difficult it is for them all, all I can think of is...i didnt twist the kid's arm and I am REALLY glad he is going through such a difficult program by his own choice :)

hey i'll tell ya what sounded like jail: the guys stuck in iraq all summer who were never allowed off base but weren't done with their deployment...yay, nothing to do all day so the bored officers yell at them...and my kid is a staff sgt in the marines! he said it was worse then prison :( stuck on a base for 3 months...

but later in this thread i will share his little brother's lines from the only letter i've got so far :)

Funny... during A School my son said that this one girl was hitting on him all the time, told him how cute he was, etc. He told me that he knew that wasn't true because they made him wear these really ugly glasses!!

This is from a phone call.. Bryan was telling me he was getting ready to go to Church and I said wow which one do you go to and he replied the one with the free donuts. we still laugh about that one.. I am going to have to go and find his letters to see what else he said
