Navy For Moms

Blue Candle Lighting on Christmas Day. Several have asked,,, is there a special blue candle? No
Several have asked how many days and how long.? The burning of the candle length is determined by the one lighting the candle.

Once, again this lighting of the blue candle represents the sailors, recruits and military that will not be joining their families during the holidays. This being done because we want to remember the families that are seperated. Some of our children and spouses are coming home and some are not so let us all remember the great sacrifice our men and women do in the service of our country.
Remember any kind of candle will do ,,,blue electric or wax. We thankyou and if you want to comment please do.. also RSVP your attendance if you are doing so in the Events.

Leslie in New Smyrna Beach ,Fl. My kids are in the Navy and will make it home this year. But, I am going to get a red , green, blue, and white candle and make it like an advent wreath to honor all branches of the military who can't be home for Christmas. It will be an anual even in our home from now on. thank you!!

I think this is a wonderful idea. My son is on leave for Christmas this year. But whose to say when I will be in some of the other mothers shoes. So proud to be a Navy Mom. I will also light a blue candle for our navy servicemen. God be with you all through the holidays and all year long. Say a prayer for each son that is deployed during the Christmas Holidays. Moms in Danville VA we need to get together.

I will be lighting a blue candle for my son. This will be the 1st year he won't be home for Christmas. We were able to celebrate Thanksgiving with him so we made the most of it. It will definitely be different without him. His candle will be burning brightly in Atascosa, TX

My son arrived home on Friday from school at Great Lakes. I told him about our Blue Candle event. He was so pleased to hear about what we were doing and the reason why. He decided that he wanted to go out shopping and select the blue candle for us to burn on Christmas Day.

We will be burning our candle in Prescott Valley, AZ.
