Is A school and Nuke school the Same thing and is it located at the citadel in South Carolina?

Many rates have A schools. Nuke school is comprised A school for one of three rates (MM, ET, EM), then power school, then prototype. This is held at Goose Creek, SC. The Citadel? No, they are a civilian institute.

There is a group for nuke moms who can answer many of your questions in more depth.

A while? LOL. My Dad was Navy (29 years), I was Navy (9), my husband was Navy (20), my nephew is a nuke at Goose Creek now, and my friend is on the Dubuque. Navy born and Navy all my life!

The Nuke school is A school+power+prototype...although prototype could be in Balston Spa NY depending on where your sailor goes for it. The Citadel where a lot of ROTC or STA21 program officers-to-be attend college
