Awaiting Orders

My son is just graduating from A school and is now awaiting his orders as to where he'll be stationed and so forth. We were hoping he could come home after A school, he just got married on the 4th of July and has a wife waiting at home for him. One of his friends is on hold. If he gets put on hold does this mean he won't be able to come home? He doesn't even know what's going to happen now. When he got married he only spent one day with his wife and had to leave the next day. He's been in A school for a year, because it's been really hard, but he made it through. He just really needs a break. Has anyone been here yet? Thanks, you moms are all great. I pray for your sons and daughters as often as possible. Ramona

Once he gets his orders, the report date should include enough time for some leave days too. Each situation varies, so it is very hard to give an exact answer.
