I share Joyce's sentiments. What a blessing this site has been and will continue to be because of the wonderful friends here!

Ruth, I have received the gift of your wisdom and experience . . . I appreciate your willingness to share what you've learned during your son's service and you can bet I'll keep asking questions as Bryan continues on his journey - LOL:)! Thank you SO much:)!

I also consider this website a blessing, although my family gets upset sometimes that I'm on here
too much. This site has been a wonderful support, fortunately my sailor has been close to home and will be leaving in Feb or March. I'm sure thats when i will lean on you all the most. Having him home now is so wonderful, I cant imagine him gone. Thanks to all of you for the strongest shoulders in the world.

Joyce, I remember the day you reminded me to turn the other cheek, and gave an excellent example of how to do that. I was SO READY to confront a member for her ill manners and fortunately you wrote first. I hope that you will have a wonderful day. then you said, " and that is how you wish someone well." The oldtimers will remember that. Oldtimers??? Was that only 9 months ago. I feel that is where my true life began. This site has made the world a much smaller and friendlier place. I have so many friends and at times have been introduced to a much better quality of people with very different abilities, strengths, and at time weaknesses. Even then, I realise that I am not alone, and have met people who can be supportive and at times honest without being critical. "God bless you everyone"

LynnDear . . . That ended up being one of the most WONDERFUL things that could have happened . . . I remember being so upset that I couldn't keep from shaking as I was trying to type on the teeny-tiny Blackberry keyboard - but it made me really consider my words and realize that my goal was to support others . . .
The truly WONDERFUL part was the outpouring of support that I received in return - those lemons made not just lemonade, but the most fabulous lemon meringue pie I could ever imagine:)! I'm so grateful that you made the trip to Tucson in September and we were able to meet and spend time together - Thank you:)!

I also share Joyce's sentiments. I am so greatful for all of the great friends that I have made on N4M's Those that I have met in person and those that I hope to one day! You all have helped make what could have been a very difficult year for me bearable. I am so proud of how we have all been able to come together. I hope that you all have a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year! Please thank your Sailors for their service and give them a Giant hug from Me! Love to you all!!!
