Mightycind - be sure to join the boot camp group - I posted the link in the welcome message on your page.  You'll find others there who had SR's leave on or around the same date.  And then when you receive your official form letter (takes 9-14 business days) you'll know your SR's PIR (graduation) date and you can join the official PIR group.  You might be looking at a 3/15/19 PIR (usually you count 9 Fridays but that is just a guess).

Great. Thanks. Any bit of info helps.

My Son started 1/15, have you received the form letter yet? Or a letter? I’m impatiently waiting

907NavyMom, your recruit is still in Phase 1 (P-days). He MAY have the initial run tomorrow IF his division filled on the day he arrived and if he passes, then he will mail the The Form Letter, which now arrives 9 to 14 business days after the recruit's arrival at the RTC in most cases.

Arrival and What Happens at RTC within Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) will let you know what is happening and what to expect.

907NavyMom, I am patiently waiting for that form letter as well. Our SR’s might be in the same ship. I will let you know as soon as I get it. I am thinking it will be like lemonelephant said 9-14 days. I am hoping 9.
My husband left the same day, praying for 9 days as well..@mightycind

That is 9 to 14 business days after the recruit's arrival at RTC. Those receiving the form letter this week arrived from the 3rd to the 9th. By Friday, perhaps some who arrived on the 10th or 11th may also be receiving it, but they are more likely to get it next week.

My son left 1/14/19 and we received form letter, and 2 handwritten letters from him this past Monday. His graduation is 3-8-19 if nothing unforseen happens. Also, there is a app on your Playstore called "Sandboxx" you can download that free but it charges $3.99 a letter (or you can buy credits 3 letters for 10.99 "I think" and you can attach pics to it. I've already used it and if you get it typed and sent before 5pm they should get it the following day, so it is worth the price to me to get him some mail sent bk to him and in more than half the time, you can also track your letter with FedEx. I hope that helps!
