Boot Camp Video

Hi, my son graduated from Boot Camp in December 2006. Unfortunatley,our camera broke when we were trying to get videos. Then after the graduation, everything was moving so fast and we wanted to spend as much time with our son as we could that I didn't get a chance to find out if we could get copies of video from the graduation. I'm guessing since it has been 2 years, we probably wouldn't be able to still get a copy of that graduation. He was on Ship 005 (I think, I'll have to ask him). Does anyone know if this is possible? Thanks.

I doubt if you can get it from Great Lakes from what I hear - but I would keep asking around in here - you might eventually end up with a copy!!

you might wanna call 847-578-6205 (Navy Exchange Photo Lab) they might still have them in the archive's. Iwould ask all they can say is no or yes :)

JoAn: I was in the same situation as you this past January. I finally got around to ordering the DVD from GL back at the beginning of this past October and it came a couple of weeks ago. I have the address and information if you want it. We enjoyed watching it as we could actually see our sailor marching in. The day of his graduation, I couldn't tell one from the other and we couldn't pick him out of the crowd. LOL.

Hi JoAn, Good luck on finding the video! Unfortunately I can't help with that...but I was curious to hear a little about the graduation. My son graduates 12/24. I do not come from a military family. I am a single mom and wondering what to expect when I fly out for it. Hope you find the video, how is your son, now that he is 2 yrs into it...Brenda

Well Good News, All today I received my son's PIR from March 14, I was so excited to watch it again...and of course cry again!!! It's funny as I watched it, on DVD...there was things I don't remember and as I watched it...i was like i don't remember that...My husband said, it's because you were to busy focusing on Andrew!!! nothing else existed at the moment! lol. I'm so thrilled to have gotten it, i really hope are able to get a copy!!! Regards, Anna
