DIV 050 SHIP 14

I posted on another thread for divisions that are scheduled to PIR on the same date of 1/2, but I have not seen anyone else post for that same division. My son is in that division. He arrived at RTC on 11/4.

Hmmm, my boy is on ship 14 too, and his Div is 051. so perhaps they have more than one Div. in one ship. How little do we know. Wouldn't you just like to be a fly on the wall in their room....well sometimes.

You know my husband and I have discussed that several times. It would be so interesting to be able to see/know more about what they are doing. I guess they will have some good stories to tell us when they are done.

My son is on Ship 14 Div. 051 ! He is cheduled to graduate Jan. 02 Where are you from ? Jennifer

We are in the DFW area (just north of Dallas). How about you?

I have seen a few people post with family members in DIV 51, but so far no one else with family members in Div 50. I wonder how many recruits are in each division.

my son arrived nov 5th in greatlakes and he is in div 050 i have no clue what ship does it say on the envelope of the letters i receive

If he is in Division 50, I am pretty sure he is ship 14 too. Does the address you have say USS Arizona? If so, that should be ship 14.

How many letters have you received from him? We got the form letter and one other letter that he wrote on Veteran's day. We didn't get anything this last week.

yes his address says uss arizona ive gotten 4 letters so far he went in nove 5th im curious the graduating date

That is great that you have received 4 letters. I guess your son is better about writing than ours is. We have just received the form letter with his quick note at the bottom and then one letter.

If you check the website it says that right now Division 50 is scheduled for PIR (graduation) on 1/2/09.

Let me know when you get a phone call from your son. From what people have said I would expect to hear from them this week - since it is week 3.

Hi Jinjer! My son arrived at RTC on 11/4 and graduates on 1/2/09! AND he is in Div 050, assigned to USS Arizona. We both thought that was funny since we live in Indiana but he was born in Arizona.

I didn't see your discussion in the other thread. I only joined N4M a few days ago. I haven't posted yet; just looking around. I hate that he won't be home for Christmas. The recruiter said they might push him through BC and let him graduate on 12/24, but no. I've only received one phone call and one letter so far. This is killing me!

I was wondering if they would push them through early like some of the other Divisions were talking about. But I guess they got there late enough that they are going to have to spend the holidays in RTC.

I am glad to see other mothers from that Division. My son was really positive in the letter we did receive. I hope he can remain positive.

Hi Jinjer, I cant believe I have found others with kids in 050. Seeing as you started this forum or discussion, you should start a group for 050 families. It is easier to read threads then in this setting. It is late here so I will talk to you all tomorrow. g'night
