Does anyone have a son in div 069 ship09?

My son is also in this division. Have only received one letter (besides the form letter) which was written on Thanksgiving. No phone call except the "I'm here" one. I hope no news is good news.

My son is Jacob. Other than the "I'm here" call we have not gotten a call, I was hoping maybe this weekend we might. Every time the phone rang we all jumped for it.

Happy Day! Got a letter today! He said he has not seen the grass since his 4th day there. That is unusual for him because where we live we might get snow once a year. He also said he thought they might get to call that day (I'm thinking it was Sunday). We did not get a call. Maybe next week.

well not my son but my boyfriend is in Div 069. I have received two letters from him so far. They both came in at the same time and the post mark was the same day. They were defiantly written at different times though. Other than that no word. Hopefully this sunday we will get a call, but i'm trying not to get my hopes up. I did at thanksgiving and was overly upset when there was no call. But a little more than a month to go!!! so things aren't as bad as they seem, we are getting closer.

I am Sal's mom, Got a letter today..... passed his swim test and PFA , has inspection on Friday.... no longer likes the snow.... beign that he has only seen it briefly in his 26 years, I can understand why......

Glad you got a letter! Know what you mean about the snow, we are in Tennessee and get snow maybe once a year. Jacob said he has not seen the grass since his fourth day there. Looking forward to PIR, not looking forward to trying to get around in bad weather.

I'm not sure but by being the same ship, I think that means they are in the same building.

Hi - My son is in DIV 069 - SH 09 - I was really hoping to get a phone call on Christmas Day, but we didn't. I've only had one phone call from his the whole time. We've received letters each week though. I am counting the days until graduation. I'm very luck that I live in the Chicago area, so getting there won't be a problem - I hope.
