Does anyone know if the Army has a similar website to this for families of soldiers?

My daughter's boyfriend is Navy...that's how we found N4M. Now, my own son is thinking about the Army. Would really love to find out if there is an Army version of this site for Army families. Does anyone out there know?

Arwen, thank you for your reply! I checked the number of members in each one of those groups. I was disappointed to see only less than 150 in one and less than 2dozen in the other. Sad isn't it? This Navy sponsored site is so vast and diverse, and very successful in its mission.. why couldn't it be replicated for the other uniformed services??

The smartass/juvenile response: because the Navy rules.

Otherwise, in my experience, the Navy has always been better at communicating than other services, and quicker to pick up new technologies, such as the use of boards like this one. It is a mindset that comes with the nature of the Navy's mission. It's simply a different creature.

Glad you posted this blog, future son in law is in the Army and it would be nice to have a site like this for info and support. It may have a small membership now but this site is less than two years old and has grown very quickly to 25,000 per members. I'll see ya there Cyndie!

Thank you LynnDear... I will certainly check into it... My son is so unsure of his future right now. I hope getting to 'chat' with people going through same situation.. sharing information.. will help. Good luck to your son! I'm so proud of our young people who choose to serve and better themselves in the process.
