Navy For Moms

Hi everyone,
I'm wanting to donate plasma this week, but I don't know if I can do that while in DEP or not or if it would be a bad idea. From what I have researched about the process itself, its very low risk, no different really from giving blood, just a bit more complex. I know it may leave me drained for a couple days and not at my peak for up to a week or more worst case scenario, but since I don't go to RTC for a few months and the weather has put my running on hold this week, I don't think it will be an issue. I just wanted to check before I did it.
Thanks

My son sold plasma the whole 14 months he was in the dep program. Just make sure you are hydrated well and eat good food, you do not want to get anemic befor or during bootcamp. :)

The person you want to check with is your recruiter.
