Graduation date

Wow, I finally got the official letter from the Navy. Although we have not heard from her yet it was a great relief to get "the letter" with her notation at the end letting us know that she is fine. Now the countdown begins to graduation (Jan 8).

Congrats. Hopefully you will be able to sleep easier now. I too HATE waiting.

I'm rather glad of my son's timing. My older son Chris leaves for boot camp just as we're gearing up for our younger son Sean's high school graduation. Then Chris will PIR a few weeks after Sean's graduation and after that we'll be scrambling to get Sean off to college/NROTC, then Chris will graduate A school and head to his first command. No time to sit and stew over anything.

If anything, it will go so fast we won't be able to keep up.

I know the feeling, I recieved my official letter also, have not heard from my son. He left Nov 9th and also graduates on Jan8th. It is a great feeling to see something in his handwriting even though he said he hates it. But he did add the fastest way out was to graduate.

Doda, that's what I told my recruit, plus I keep reminding him it won't last forever--as they say time marches on! My recruit is the same div and ship # as yours, I just glanced down to my list and saw your name.
