My son has been in for almost nine months. PIR is the most amazing thing you will ever experience. You will be so amazed at the change in him when you see him in eight short weeks. Happy Holidays.

Hi, my son left home on Sunday and was sworn in on Monday in Brooklyn NY and flew to Great Lakes on Monday, I received my 30 second call and the box last night.

Make sure you go into 'groups' and join boot camp mom's....the best support group ever !!

My son is there now--left here on Nov. 12th. Didn't get a got here safe phone call--planes were delayed til early morning hours. So we got the 'having fun in the airport lounge before heading out to Chili's to eat" email instead.

Then we didn't hear anything until after we received his clothing in a box. Since then, though, we've received three letters.
