I am so excited!!! My husband is coming home from Kuwait tomorrow evening. He gets to meet his daughter. She is 6 weeks old. My son and I are going to make him a welcome home banner to hang on our front porch. Can't wait till tomorrow.

I think congratulations are in order on MANY different levels!! First to you on the birth of your daughter and second to a 'family reunion'!!! Thank your husband for his service to his country and have a wonderful homecoming!!

We are looking forward to our son's arrival back home in the upcoming days!!! He will be greeted by many family members; I hope he's ready for it. The most important person he will be looking for however, if not me. (I think I rank #3~which is okay by me). First up, his fiancé', who has worked so hard to plan an extra special surprise for him, his Baby Sister will be 2nd in line; I am hoping to at least get a hug and a whisper in my ear of "Mom, It's good to be home". Along with Grandma, Future In-Laws, Dad, Aunts, Uncles, former shipmates and abundance of friends. We are going to enjoy this homecoming no doubt. After that, wedding plans! YAY! Time to get to it. Their special day will be here before we know it.
To those experiencing the same, THANK YOU to your Sailor for the job they do and to YOU for your steadfast love and support of each of them and the job you do on the homefront. Their hearts beat within the soul of the ship when they are gone, but deeper is the love and support they get from home. Don't worry about that special outfit, (you could where a potato sack and they wouldn't care).
CONGRATULATIONS to ALL on yet ANOTHER successful deployment. You are amazing!!!

You are most welcome and I will tell him in my next BC letter. Today has been Red Shirt Friday for me and a Navy jacket day for my husband. He's getting all sorts of questions concerning the jacket since we are from an Air Force base. His reply, "My military career is ancient history, my nephew's is just starting and I am supporting MY troop! : )"
