Navy For Moms

Wow this is my third deployment, and every thime my baby leaves a part of me goes with him. I look at how others are with the situation and some on the other hand, tend to the the name "navy wife" to a different level. The names we get called are well know by many. But over all I personally think holding our heads high and being proud to hold it down for a long peroid of time is something we all sould be proud of.

Having been on the side of Navy wife and now Navy mom I am not sure which is easier or harder. Having to go to the peir and phyically watch him leave was always hard. With it being my son it is important to just get that call that says "Goodbye". We put on our happy face and hold our head high because we know they are there taking care of our nation and we care for things at home.
Fair winds and follwing seas. Safe returns to all.

This is my first deployment and it's hit me hard. Somehow I know I could never "get use" to these. The Navy is a good start for my son and I am very proud he is serving our country. I can't be there when his ship leaves but I will be there when he returns back to port. God bless and watch over our troops.
