I finally know where my son is going to be stationed in lemoore california ,im not sure if they have an airport or not does anyone know ,how to travel to lemoore bus,plane ,im comming from san diego if some one can help on how to travel there that would be great thanks,,,

Hi, I live here in NAS Lemoore. There is an airport in Fresno, which it 45 minutes north of here. The drive to Lemoore takes about 7 hours from San Diego. There is usually heavy traffic between San Diego and L.A. The drive is pretty simple. You go North on I-5 and then take 198 east. I have not looked into the bus system, but I know that Greyhound comes to the area, because I have seen it.

My son is stationed at Lemoore, there is an airport in Fresno, my son came home last week for his brothers wedding and found out that you can catch a shuttle from the base to the airport and it leaves every 6 hours, or you can take a bus that is $1.00 to get to the train station and the train (amtrac) is either $4.00 or $6.00 and it drops you off in Fresno and take a taxi to the airport. He said it worked pretty good. Southwest is also having a fare sale that is very low. good luck Linda
