Is anyone from Long Island? I feel a little alone. My son goes to boot camp August 5th.

I will be, thank you! It is just going to take me off my feet for a week or two which is not going to be easy since Andrew's PIR is the following Friday. I guess it will be crutches in the Great Lakes!!

Not too early Sept that won't be good for me, but we can work around you, how long will you be laid up for surgery? I hope all goes well.

Well, I don't have much time at all even if I need it! I have surgery Sept 18th then Andrew's PIR is the 25th. It is not going to be fun. I am hearing that I will need to do alot of walking.
