my husband is in a school in pensacola....need advice??

so i live in washington state and my husband is in a school in pensacola and him and i want to spend time together so i need to find a nice not so expensive place to live...im not taking any furniture there so if anyone knows of a place i can rent furniture??? or a place i can get some cheap furniture i would really appreciate it! i need as much help as possible please!

I could be totally off on this info I'm about to give you. I am more familiar with the Air Force and what is available to their airmen. In saying that, they have something called the Airman's Attic that has furniture, dishes, basic household items that troops can borrow until their items arrive. The Navy may have a similar group. You may want to contact family support in Pensacola and see if something like this is available. Also, the area is bound to have thrift shops, yard sales,and flea markets where you can find cheap furniture. The base paper should have a classified section that will have yard sales by military families getting ready to PCS. Sorry, but I can't advise on the place to live. I don't venture into Pensacola that often.
