my son is also in Div 036 and set to PIR on 12/24. His name is Adrian. Adrian tells me that Div 036 is full of great guys who are all pulling together. i was so happy to hear this.!!

David is in Div 040. Where is your group meeting? Plans are to get him in the car after PIR and head for home since it's Christmas Eve, and we have other children and family that are looking forward to seeing him for Christmas morning!! Thanks for the invite!

My recruiter told me today that most likely the 12/24 kids will be on leave until the first of the year. Has anyone else been told that?

My son's Aschool will be in Great Lakes. It looks like he will graduate on the24th and have to be back by Jan.4th. I got refundable airfare just in case.

yes, I understand that they will be on leave and will be expected to be back on Jan 4 (Our son wants to be back Jan 3 to be safe and not be late). Hope this is correct! It'll be great to have him home for Christmas!! Cheri

He THINKS Pensacola- or maybe I should say he HOPES Pensacola - hoping he'll let me know if he calls this Saturday - so far he hasn't missed calling one Saturday.

My son called - DIV 046 - graduating 12/24 also - he told me he would be on leave until Jan 4th - but he wants to leave the 3rd to make sure he gets there on time. Not sure what time they can leave after graduation. He also told me that he had to make his flight arrangements to get home and would be reimbursed the difference between home and A School. He doesn't ALWAYS get everything right so I'm waiting on the graduation package but I want to make reserversations as soon as I can!

My son is also in DIV 046 - I wish we would get the graduation packet already! I want to make my flight arrangements, but if he is allowed to leave right after, then that changes what day we fly out......

My daughter is suppose to graduate 12/24/2008. She said in her last letter that she will be able to come home for Christmas if there are no set backs. Then she goes to Meridian Miss. I'm hoping she doesn't have to report till after the new year.My son n law is retired 20 year Navy and he says the run on a skeliton crew at the holidays. I sure hope so.
