http://www1.netc.navy.mil/nstc/rtcgl/upcoming_grads.asp I believe this is the site your looking for. Welcome to the site and thanks for supporting one of future Hero's. If you want to talk, cry, laugh, brag or understand your next steps like (receiving the box emotions, even thou we know its coming & everything is ok, lol & then phase two, stalk the mailman) It is all very normal and right on schedule. Write to your son as well as his family & friends should be doing, please explain to them NOT to expect a letter back, the rcts only have limited time on Sundays to write. But the mailcall is & has always been a really big thing. You can PM (personal message) to talk to whom you wish or just openly make forums or groups. You can PM by going to whomevers home page you want & under their name states send message (i think) Good luck, & enjoy his PIR, camera & lots of tissues, you will PROUDER Than you are now.

Thank you so much for the info. Paula, you are so right, I am extremely proud of him already... I can only imagine what I will be feeling on his PIR!

Have you found out what division and ship your son is in yet?

Elizabeth, no I haven't, but from what I'm reading the letter may take 2-3 weeks, so I'll try to be patient!

Contact your son/daughter recruiter, by now they should have the information available.

My son also started boot camp on June 29th. I got my first letter from him on July 8 and it told me his division no. There is a part of this website (family guide) that tells you when graduation is, but it doesn't seem to be working right now. However, they will send out a graduation package in about 2 weeks and let you know the date for sure, and the procedures. Did you get the box, and a letter yet? Sue
