Navy For Moms

11 Dec — There is no grad.

18 Dec — 025 – 028 and 904 & 905. Only six divisions

Christmas Week – There is no grad.

30 Dec — Div 029, approx 13 divisions total. This is the only group who will be eligible for the Adopt-a-Sailor program on Christmas. Recruits will send home forms with the details, but if they think their folks cannot make it, they probably won't send a form. It's entirely up to them.

Thanksgiving Adopt-A-Sailor is the 04 Dec group only. Their forms were sent out last week.

Hi

I was just wondering if this information is confirmed. Would the DEC 30th PIR date include SHIP 9 DIV 30? Thank you.

Can you please advise Recruit Command to reconsider and PIR all divisions on 12/18?

Sorry this will be the first of many holidays your children will be away from home for. The USN doesn't do an all stop when there are holidays.

LOL, yes I know! Not worried about that.

I am concerned about the enormous crowd on the 12/30, the logistics of the crowd , swine flu, and the capacity of the roadway systems to one enormous PIR event

good point, Navy Mom. With not being able to vaccinate my young one, this swine crap is scaring the heck outta me... Get your shots everyone! OR don't come if you're sick! Don't risk others... ESPECIALLY the little ones!

like Duh, we know this is the first of many holidays without our children. Pardon our anxiousness on wanting to see our children. Some of our recruiters were under the impression that our PIR would be before Christmas. Since the USN doesn't do an all stop on holidays.....does that include MOTHERS DAY as well...lmao....sorry cudn't help myself.
