PIR December 18th

My son's PIR is 12/18. Is there anyone else going to GL for this PIR? My son is in Ship 06/Div 905. I'm really excited about going. I booked everything with plans on being there a week. I'm hoping my son will be able to spend time with us after PIR. His A-school is at GL as well. I don't know when his A-school will start, but am hoping that he will be able to stay with us at the hotel for a few days. Does anyone know what happens after PIR?

My Daughter has the same grad date as well as ship and division. I'll be attending PIR and have my airline tickets. I haven't yet booked a room or a car, but I should get on this. Have you heard from your son regarding graduation?

I haven't heard from my son, and that worries me, but I hear no news is good news. I already have my airline tickets, hotel and car. I'm hoping nothing changes at the last minute. Is your daughter Grand and Go? Do you know when she will start her A-school?

My fiance gaduates december 18h as well but he is in ship9 div 027. We are driving up wenesday from Oklahoma and got the hotel booked and then after graduation we are brining him home since his A School is in Florida and does not start until January 3rd.

HI Amanda. Have you heard from your fiance recently? I still haven't heard from my son. I've read on other postings that their Battlestations will be on the 16th, which is the day I fly - I'll arrive in GL on the 17th early in the AM so I hope I don't get bad news on the day I fly or the next day - not sure what I'll do in GL for a week without seeing him. My son is staying at GL for A-School - that is the reason I decided to go see him there so he doesn't have to use so much leave time - he said he can just use a few days while we are there then sign-in to A-school after I leave.

My son is also in 09/027 and will be in (Pensacola) Florida for A school starting on the 3rd! Look for us on Friday as I'm sure our men will be together for a bit of time. Liles is his last name and we will either be waving a pink/red scarf for him to see or a Detroit Red Wings flag. This is so exciting as it gets closer!!!

Elidia- no i havent heard from him in about 3 week from what i have understood ship 9 div 27 is not doing so good they dont get to many phone calls i got a letter. We are leaving out Wenesday morning early since we are driving from oklahoma and i was thinking the same thing i dont know what we will do if somthing did not go corectly. I was thinking that most of the A schools where letting them go tell jan 3rd since most bases dont have much going on tell then.

kari- have you heard from your son latly i got a letter from my finance but it doesnt sound like there group is doing so good they are getting in trouble alot and they are having trouble focusing.
