Navy For Moms

I have a very sick son in the hospital in San Diego. Is there a mom out there who could go see him? Thank you.

All I can say is wow! I just read this discussion and everyday I'm feeling more and more blessed to be part of this group!

Tammy, you truly are an angel! Thank you so much for 'paying it forward'. There is a special place in heaven for those who watch out for a complete stranger in need.

*Hugs* Misty

Wow - I have not logged on in a while and this is the first post I have read. I am typing this with tears running down my face. I am so glad Spencer is doing better. My son broke his foot a few months ago and I felt so worried that he was all alone and so far away....I could not imagine how it would feel if he was in the ER with an unknown illness.

Tammy there is no words to describe your thoughtfulness. What a group!!!!
I am so proud to be a part of Navy for Moms. I'm a proud dad, but it makes my heart sing to see all the people that were just willing to jump in and help Spencer through this tough time. I love this! You all are great!
Ok...this is the coolest thing I have ever heard. Tammy you are awesome and Laura I am so glad it all turned out well! We are indeed one great big Navy family.
I am so happy to hear a happy ending to this story. Bless your son and your family Laura, and bless Tammy for helping out.
Hi Laura,
So glad everything worked out ok. You're right, Tammy is an absolute angel. Good luck to your son and Happy New Year to you.

God Bless,
Tani
What an awesome group to be a part of!! Isn't it great that everyone can pull together from all over and get things done--Leave it to the Navy Moms-- Bravo Zulu to all of you!!!
This is the most awesome thing to see exploding before our eyes-and just what this world needs to see! Such rapport, such loving kindness for a fellow brother/sister in need! Angels do exist! I am so thankful that Spencer is doing well now, and sorry I wasn't on earlier to see this post. My prayers may be late, but nonetheless as powerful as if sent before. Wish we could get cards sent to Spencer now, just so he knows that we are all still deep in prayer for a speedier recovery. Please tell him how moms out here pray continually on his behalf, am proud and encouraged of the awesome man he is! And Laura, you can tell that you are a wonderful mom in raising such a fine gentleman! Tammy, may the blessings keep showering upon you, what a model you are! :0}
This is the most amazing, inspiring, comforting exchange I've ever read. Laura, angels certainly gathered around you and your son. Tammy, you will receive a very special jewel in your crown in heaven. At one point there was the possibility that my son (also in SD) would need surgery (no emergency). If that were to happen, I would have had time to make the arrangements to get there. It makes me feel so comforted to know that Navy moms are out there, willing to help at the drop of a hat. Navy moms are the best!
