SENDING GIFTS TO BOOT CAMP

Hi,

My son is not able to come home for Christmas, does anyone know what I could send to boot camp, I was thinking scratch off tickets, is that a no no! If anyone knows I would appreicate the help. How about gift cards, maybe a phone card, I would like to send something.

A phone card would be good.

I can't find a link off-hand, but I'm pretty sure lottery tickets would get him in trouble. A phone card is probably the best bet, and some photos, a nice, non-musical card. Not sure about the gift card, unless it is for one of the fast food places in Ricky Heaven, he can't use it anyway.

I was in boot camp for Christmas, really, it is harder for you than for him.

We were told you could send a postal money order that they can cash when they get to go to the NEX for supplies. Phone cards are always good, too.

Please don't send off scratch off tickets. We really need to help our sons and daughters up hold the standards of bootcamp and stay focused on the the task at hand - passing the tests, the pt, the swim, and graduating.
