Mine will be going CTI - basically an interpreter. We won't know which language until he gets to A school.

Yeah! I finally found you all - ship 03, div 048! Our 3rd week away was Thanksgiving Day and as of today, Monday, Nov.30, we still haven't had a phone call. Have any of you received a phone call from your child, other than the "I'm here" call?
In his last letter (dated Nov. 22) he said that he had not yet received any of our letters - and he should have a crateful! Yes, we know that he's safe, but it's killing us that we haven't been able to speak with him yet.

My son did PIR on 12-4 and I saw 048 marching... they looked awesome! All bundled up because we had snow on the ground that day.... You will be very proud!

Thank you so much! We have since received letters and a phone call, but it's been a whole week since we've received either one. Hoping something will come tomorrow. We don't get much snow in Texas, so I'm wondering how my son is handling all this - guess I'll find out in January!
