My son left 11/12/2009 and my stomach still hurts. I was wondering if anybody elses son left on this date. He is on ship 13 div. 053. Looking for others that might be in that same group. Miss him so much.

Guess what the world is that small =P Dillon told me in his bunkmate was the only other guy from North Carolina in their division and he is from Ashville! and that they hit it off frrom the Air Port. How crazy is this! & i am wayy too excited about the 15th too, literally counting down the days! Its nice that your son, Brandon, has a fiance too, she should join onto the site so we can all keep in touch.

My fiance's son, Robert, left 11-12-09. Got the info packet on the 17th. He is Ship 13 Div.55. Will PIR Jan 15th. We made reservations at Residence's Inn Waukegan. The clerk suggested making reservations the following weekend also because sometimes the grad. date gets changed. Anyone else been told this or know anything? We are driving so don't have to worry about travel plans. However would hate to make other arrangements, work, school, pet sitters, etc and have to change them last minute.
Did get our first letter on the 28th. He said they can only have time to write on Sundays. Plus he has a lot of studying to do. So I'm not going to fret about letters from him. We just keep sending them!
