Thannksgiving and Christmas after PIR

My grandaughter graduates on Sep.25 YEA!!!! We won't get to go:( She will be going to A school there in GL will she get to come home for Thanksgiving or Christmas?

They usually will have a four day weekend for Thanksgiving but if she is in school, they generally do not take leave during A school..................except a Christmas. There is a two week standdown period for the schools during Christmas, last year the GL students were on stand down from Dec. 19th to January 4th - haven't seen the exact dates for this year yet.

Our son did. He had to put in a chit to request it but yes.
