"A" School Recruits Presently on Hold @ GL!

My Daughter is on Hold for A school at GL for Advanced Electronics School. Are there any other Moms out there with kids in this school?........Her PIR was 11Sept.09!.....No Problems. She is patient and content right now........Just want to touch base with anyone else like me!........SUZIE Q!

Suzanne, my son graduated 5/1/09 and was on hold for A school until 7/7/09.

Yeah! I have heard from others that it could be a few mos.....Staffing, etc...No problem. She doesn't mind the little busy work. She is so grateful to have her BB and the ability to "text" again after a long 9 week hiatus.....lol.........she has really become a very humble young lady after BC!!!!........LOL!..........I am just so grateful that she is in a safe place and having a great life ahead of her now!!!

My daughter is on hold for A school at GL. Her PIR was 9/25 and she's training for OS. I understand this not unusual and they keep busy doing various activities in the meantime. I am looking forward to her coming home for Christmas:)

My son is also on hold in GL. His PIR was 3/27/09. I was hopeful that he wouldn't have to spend another winter in Chicago. He's a tough kid and handles the delays much better than I do. I miss him a lot ... often!

My son had his PIR 11/6 and is on hold at GL for electronics....he is going to be a minemen. I think he is on the Mustin.

My daughter also on Mustin PIR date 10/30 and is on hold for ET/FC A school in GReat Lakes-waiting for ATT school-had heard rumors that her ATT school should start in January hopefully, of course navy one day it is this way and the next it is something else--She seems okay with it all other than she is tired of telling everyone that she is on hold-after she is phase 2 wants to try out for honor guard-surpised me!!!!!!!
