About the ad, I have a friend who works at the Times. She said she thought they allowed a free line to be put in the about the town (or something like that) section. She is looking into it but I'm not going to press her with the holidays. I will get back with her in the beginning of Jan.
We picked my sailor up today. He was supposed to land at Chattanooga but that was cancelled then switched to Knoxville-then again to Atlanta. We got in and out of Atlanta in 8 hours-not too bad for that city!

Hey ladies... My son just got his orders- he will be stationed in Maryland for 2 years.... he will be home next week for Christmas!!! I CANT WAIT !!!

if your paper is anything like ours you got to pay for an ad to go into the paper....but since i now work for our local paper here in town i can look into it or maybe i can get a reduce rate for running an ad...Tell me what you guys all think about that one....

Hi Tammy! I can't wait too. We'll prob need extra time to catch up with each other.
My son will be home in 13 days and can't wait! Hope everyone got to enjoy the snow today. Does the Times have any kind of free ads we could put in as in the around the town section? (Not sure: I don't read the times) Or people belonging to larger churches can put something in their flyer...just shotting out some ideas. I've only bumped in a couple Navy mom's in the N. GA area personally and they weren't interested in N4M or meeting. Personally everyone on here has been a great support system for me. And my first meeting with all you helped me TREMENDOUSLY in getting through BC.

Hello everyone! I know everyone is busy getting ready for the holiday season. Can't wait to see everyone in January. I was at the mall the other day and saw all these people in Navy sweatshirts, i wanted to go up to them and tell them about our group. Talk to everyone later.
