My son is leaving for basic in October. He has chosen Aviation/Airman PACT program.

Can you give me a little insight as to what he is to expect?

Thank you

Candace,  There is a group PACT Moms that has alot of info.

Im sorry, I just seen your response, Thanks a bunch!

Although I'm not totally sure what rate your son is, be assured that the Navy is a great place to start as a young adult. My son has been in since Feb 2014 when he was only 19 but has become the ambitious young man I had always hoped he will be. The Viation part of the Navy have been wonderful and my son feels he has a second family. Hopefully others in this group will answer you about the PACT program

Thank you for that. I'm holding up pretty good and don't think the reality of him leaving in a month has sit in yet.
