Hi all,
Really a newbie here! Our son just arrived in Pensacola for AC school. He seems kind of lost as far as when his start up date or class up?date is. I keep reading how sailors are waiting a really long time for this and thus pushes their time in Pensacola REALLY far back. Hungrier than "Cookie Monster"for any AC information. COOKIES!!!!!!

My son has been in a year and 3 months. He graduated Top of the Class in AC school. So he was able to pick CA, which is where we are from. He is stationed in SD and he loves it. He loves his job and is close with his group. He said he will probably serve all 5 years on land, he doesn't think he will ship out. But he said if he does, he will have to go back to Pensacola for more training. He will hopefully be 3rd class by the end of next mont. Not bad for just a year. We are so excited and proud. BTW, he ended up in this classification as a mistake, and it's probably the best choice.

I have a plea to any parent out there who will be attending the ceremonies next week, Friday the 15th. My son is in AC school, graduating with honors. I am so torn up that I cannot afford the $800 plane ticket, let alone car and lodging. If any one here is going, can you please take a few photos. I am so upset and unfortunately so is my son. Please contact if if you can. Thank you.

I hope josh can keep it up. He was been top of the class since week two. He said he is starting to make his wish list.

Joanne, Josh won't grad A school until May 16th. He hasn't said much about C school, just that he may have options.

Joanne, did the address work? Did your son get his package yet?
Comment by Kathy S (Josh's Mom) on March 1, 2009 at 12:18pm
Does anyone know what C schools are available after AC?

Joanne, you can send me your email address through my page, and I can give it to you. We can't post those things here, I don't think.
