GL. He is going in for DC. I was actually gonna get there around 530. What about the weekend. Do I sign him out each day or what? And what are the chances of me taking him to his grandfather's grave site at the Veteran's cemetery?

Jaz, My son is stationed on the USS Carl Vinson in Norfolk, VA (actually in the shipyards in Newport News). He is an aircraft handler. He has been in almost 2 years. We need to develop an East Valley group. I am all for that.

Julie, Thanks for the head's up - I let Bryan know and he's getting the 'paperwork' done for his (due in Dec) . . . this will save us a lot of last minute 'grief':)!

I don't know WHY I'm tired . . . I got almost 4 hours of sleep last night - LOL:)! I definately NEED my coffee this morning . . . my flight leaves just before 7:)!

Julie: Melody lives in Burbank and when she first moved there her car was still registered here in AZ. She called AAA and they told her exactly where to take her car and get the emissions test and then she got her new tags.

Did you call MVD and ask for an extension in order to get this done?

MOMS R/T registering your childs car in Ariz when they have it in another state. Cory's car is due for registration Sept. 30th. It also needs emissions testing...only the car is in Virginia. I called and here's the scoop. 90 days prior to registration date (if emission testing is needed) go to myAZcar.com and click waivers. Print out the military wavier and send it to your child. They will have to fill it out and have it signed by a commander. They send it in with a check for $9.50 and will receive a waiver, good for 2 uears. Cory and I are trying to get this all done in a couple of weeks.....he's is due 9/30.....wish I had known this a month or so ago!!!!

OK Marsha & Audrey's Mema, I added you both as friends. It's late right now and I'm off to bed but I'm gonna look into starting a group as Melissa suggested, and thank you Melissa for that!
