Hi Vee, Dads day was great! Got to talk to both mys sons (oldest is in Augusta) and spent the day with my Grand daughters,3 & 7. The wife cooked one of my favorites and I watched golf and had a beer!

Rysmirlyn, thanks for the info. That is what I thought. Better to be sure.

Rysmirlyn - I am sure Hoppi and/or Will can answer your concerns and quell the rumors. I have an idea which ship it might be, but would prefer not to say until we hear from the leaders for sure.
Hi Bill - how was your Fathers Day?

Will or Hoppi, does a civilian with military ID (spouse) have to stop and get a visitors pass or do they just need their ID card?

Dori - thanks for the info on the Mac. I was trying to help my step-daughter with her new Mac and it was so different than what I was used to. I probably did her more harm than good. lol Congrats to Victoria getting Phase 2 and I know she is happy to get back into civies.
Rysmirlyn - do we know yet which building/ship it was that went fubar?

Vee, In general when I switched from the PC to the Mac, I found it to be very similar. My brother gave me a user's manual that had a chaper called where is it on the Mac. I switched primarily because Macs are less likely to get viruses and trojans than PCs. I do keep a security package on it anyway.

When I was still working, I used a laptop so that my files were always with me. When in the office, I had a docking station with a full-sized keyboard, monitor and all the other accessories, e.g., printer, etc. That worked so well I have not been able to switch back.

Victoria said she got Phase 2 so she is now able to wear civilian clothes. She went shopping and has an outfit all ready to wear.

Gary T - sounds to me like you got their attention at Gate 1. That sure makes a long drive for you on weekends, but it is worth it to get to spend time with Nick I'm sure.
Melanie - I am looking forward to your email.
Dori - I guess I used a desktop for too many years and I use an ergonomic keyboard, so never could get used to a laptop. There are times when I travel that I wish I had one, tho. And, I have had very little experience on a Mac desktop and found it confusing after what I have been used to.
Theresa - let me know if you got that Garmin that we talked about last night.
To everyone, have a GREAT WEEK.....
