OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hi Dori...it sounds right to me, also :D For some reason, I was thinking the Enterprise is going to be the ship for Indoctrination (INDOC), but don't quote me on this one. The only other thing I could find was Illinois Dept. of Corrections when I googled it. lol lol OR something to do with record keeping. So, guess Will needs to answer this for us, or Hoppi....

Vee, your cat has the right idea. I've been thinking about spending a bit of Sunday afternoon doing the same activity.

Morning everyone and have a blessed Sunday....
Gary - I'm not Will, but I do believe they just need a family member sign them out on "weekend liberty." A chit is necessary for a "leave." Will, correct me if I am wrong on this one. Also, did you spend a quarter for me in a "Coyote Moon" machine in Vegas? lol lol lol

Hoppi - good for you! How special is that coin? LMAO on the ex-mother in law bit....I've had one of those so I know exactly what you mean. Now, go read on your Kindle....
Will - you know what they say.....if you want a job done right, give it to a busy person. So, now you know why you got the added responsibility. lol
Have a good night both of you.

Will....we really do miss you on here!!! We know you have added responsibility now on the base, so we do understand. Have a safe trip to New Jersey and a great time at the wedding. Are you the best man? And, who takes over for you on base in your absence? Take care of yourself and your precious wife and enjoy the rest of your weekend!!!
