Thank you Vee, my son will be graduating next Friday and starting A school in Great Lakes. I know as he starts his schooling there I will have many questions....so glad for this site and all the wonderful and caring people that are always willing to help.

A very warm WELCOME to our newest member #125...jump right in if you haven't already done so, introduce yourself and ask any questions you would like. On here, no question is a dumb question, so ask away. Our leaders (Will, Hoppi or Chris D) will answer them as soon as they can.

I'm like you, Karen, I sure don't want to cause any problems by sending the wrong things. I hope Airborne was ok and if not I am sure Michael got rid of it immediately. Thanks, Will, for the heads up on the coricidin products and is your day running smoother than earlier this week?

Karen, thank you so much for your prayers for Michael..I don't know if they can have over the counter meds in their barracks, but I would assume so because the medics yesterday told Michael to just use Ibuprofen. In my recent "care package" I sent him, I tucked in some Airborne. But, I'll defer that question to our leaders when they come on! HAGD :~}

Good morning everyone, and make it a great day wherever you are!

Yes, Michael is tough and will heal well I am sure. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers for him. He only missed 1/2 day of ATT school yesterday.

Roni, as much as Will wishes it were Friday, it isn't yet!!! lol lol No rain here yet; just cool weather and windy off and on. Maybe another "inside" day today.

Catch you all later; got stuff to do!

Brenda...good question! I have known the answer in the past, but I will leave it for our "top guns" to answer as soon as they check in....Vee :~}

Thank you, Brenda. I'm sure it will just take time to heal. I sure hope he isn't disfigured from it.

Just found out that my grandson broke his nose playing football with the sailors. He finally went to sick bay today (I am not sure what it is called) and had it xrayed to confirm the break. He said it is a straight down break and they won't have to reset it and to take Ibuprofen for the pain. Not a good thing to go through while in ATT school. Bummer!!!!

Good evening all! I am back from my day of running around in town. Actually I helped out a friend who has had recent surgery and needs help getting around. Dropped my dog off to get groomed and ran a few errands. Now to relax at home!
Brenda - I'm glad Karen led you to Will's mural pics. Aren't they something?
Hoppi - Congrats on your Bs on your quizzes last night. We don't expect to see you on here on Tuesday eves. Can I come to your home this weekend??? Sounds like the place to be for sure.
Will, you are over the "hump" day and we'll keep our fingers crossed the rest of the week will go a little smoother for you.
Hi Roni and Theresa!! Is it still raining up there, Roni???
