Sunnn- bootcamp is 8-9 weeks, and graduation is every friday. :) And I dont know about the letters.
Does anyone have a bf in Divison 086?

Hi everyone,
My boyfriend just left home to bootcamp.
I really like to send and receive letters with him,
but Iam not going to be in the states.
so my question is is it possible to send letter and recieve letters from boot camp from foreign countries?
Also i heard from him that boot camp usually takes 8 weeks but how long exactly does boot camp takes till graduation???

hey everyone :) I haven't been on here in ages it seems like. My boyfriend is no longer in boot camp he graduated 10/30 he's in a-school now. If you ever need anyone to talk to I'm here for you. I know how it is. But remember just keep yourself busy and it will be over soon enough!

Hey girls. Havent talked much in here. But Im Heidi. My boyfriend left for bootcamp last night... It was so hard. But I just wanted to say hello. And I hope everyone is doing alright. :)

I hope you girls are doing good today. I just found out that I wont see my sailor for Christmas or New Years or my birthday so Im kinda down but hopefully I will get to see him soon. Keep your heads up and if you need anything I am here.

lady- You can have his parents contact his recruiter and get the information on the form letter before it arrives. That way, you can send off his letters earlier and trust me, the earlier the better. The address may be a little different, but he'll get them. If you get the address before the letter comes in, just use that one until the form letter does and then use that one. Hope that helps :)

Heather- I didn't get a letter until about 3 weeks after he left and I got one phone call for 8 minutes exactly 28 days after he left. Don't feel too concerned...you'll get them soon!

My boyfriend has been in A school for about 2 1/2 months now but I havn't seen him since he left July 26th. It's really hard at first but I promise you all will make it through. Just keep writing letters- they really do help for the both of you. A school is much better but I still cry myself to sleep a lot. It's definitely a journey so far but it's one that's so worth it! My boyfriend called me for his "I'm a Sailor" call and it felt so amazing! I'm excited for you ladies!!! I'm excited for me because I get to see him finally in 11 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!
